Nike leads list of world’s most marketed brands


According to the ranking World’s 50 Most Marketed Brands powered by Hookit, Nike derived 461.9 million US dollars in total sponsorship value from nearly 12 000 promoters and 5.56 billion social media engagements in the 12 months through August 2020

The rest of the Top 10 included Emirates Airlines, 252.2 billion US dollars; adidas with 228.0 billion US dollars; Monster Energy, 119.3 million US dollars; Red Bull 114.4 million US dollars; State Farm 112.8 million; Santander 105.9 million US dollars; Standard Chartered 79.0 million US dollars; Puma 75.0 million US dollars and Beko 56.4 million US dollars.

Among other sporting goods companies, Spalding was placed number 33 with a total sponsorship value of 35.2 million US dollars; New Balance was at 37th place with 33.0 million US dollars; Under Armour was at 41st with 24.6 million US dollars and Reebok was at 50th with 22.0 million US dollars.

Hookit is a Sponsorship Analytics and Valuation Platform which quantifies and tracks the value and performance of sports sponsorships in social and digital media.
